This new oceanfront home was the first of many to be completed in Mantoloking, NJ after the original home was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. The new CAFRA regulations presented many challenges to our design team both functionally and aesthetically, especially with regard to the transition to and from the second story living space to the landscape. We detailed custom wooden fencing, pergolas, light posts, trellises and vegetable garden structures to help ease this transition. An abundance of seasonal annuals interspersed in the plantings create a cottage garden feel and a colorful oasis for the clients summer getaway, as well as eye catching curb appeal.
